A little introduction:
Active in the offroad scene since 1997, started late, on a Honda XR400. The XR was traded in 2000 for a Yamaha WR400f which was then sold for a 2002 Husaberg FX470e. I still have that bike today!
First entry in the classic offroad sport was with thanks to family (old Maico importers up to about ’84-’85). In my case it started on a 76 Maico MC400but during the second season it was replaced with a 1978 MC440. That 440 engine was mounted into a 1981 chassis after which I decided it should be a full 490. But volume is not everything… a remark a found out pretty soon.
Currently riding a modified 250cc reed; now a 400cc.
The main part off the hobby is the modification and restoring. Projects like the 400 reedvalve conversion were amongst some projects. Currently more projects are being worked on.
I hope you can find what you need on the website, if not, send me a message and maybe I can help anyway!
In the past I entered some enduro races on my Maico 400RV. Despite the bad weather sometimes, bad physical condition and lack of time to prepare, it was big fun. I hope to do more classic enduro in the future.
