FOR ORIGINAL THROTTLE GRIP!! Back then the cable pointed towards the front in the rding direction and then through the front plate back. Newer style grips are socalled 90 degree and the cable goes sideways.
With this standard cable, the difference between outer and inner is approx 13cm
